At Natalie's, dinner and the show are one plan. For seated shows your ticket doubles as a dinner reservation, and the kitchen starts serving about an hour before the music. Show up early, order a pizza, and the band comes to you.

Two stages under one roof

The Music Hall is the bigger room, with flexible seating and full production. Charlie's Stage is smaller and closer, set on the restaurant side of the building. Bookings lean toward folk, jazz, Americana and indie songwriters, local and touring.

One detail trips people up. If you hold general admission for the Music Hall and want to eat, reserve a table on the kitchen side ahead of time.

There is also I Like It Like That, a small bar inside the building that serves cocktails, espresso, small plates and pizza without a show ticket.

How it started

Natalie Jackson and her father, Charlie, opened the first Natalie's on North High Street in Worthington in 2012, pairing coal fired pizza with live music. The King Avenue venue came later and grew into the main event. In 2022 the family closed the Worthington location to focus on the larger space here.

Parking and bikes

Natalie's sits on King Avenue in Fifth by Northwest, the stretch between the Ohio State campus and Grandview Heights. Customer lots wrap around three sides of the building, with street parking nearby. King Avenue has bike lanes if you would rather ride over from campus.

Small things that help

  • Arrive for dinner rather than at showtime if you want to eat before the first song.
  • The early shows are a good fit for a weeknight. You can be home at a reasonable hour.
  • For more rooms built around listening, see our jazz and blues calendar, the Southern Theatre downtown, and the McConnell Arts Center up in Worthington.
