Concerts in Columbus is a straightforward guide to live music in Columbus and the towns around it. It puts every show we can find on one calendar, sorted by date, with a guide to each room and a page for each kind of music.
Who it is for
People who live here and want to know what is on this weekend. Ohio State students looking for the next show on High Street. Visitors with a free night in town and no idea where the Newport is. If you would rather spend the evening at a show than piece together a dozen venue calendars, this site is for you.
How the listings work
Every show on this site comes from SeatGeek, our ticket partner. We refresh the listings every week, sort them by date, and connect each one to its venue and genre pages. When a show is added, moved or canceled, the next refresh picks it up. A week is a long time in the concert business, so check the date and time on your ticket before you head out.
How the site pays for itself
Ticket links on this site are affiliate links. If you buy through one, we may earn a commission from SeatGeek at no extra cost to you. That commission keeps the site running. It does not decide which shows appear, since every show in the feed gets listed.
Who we are not
We are independent. We are not any venue, promoter or box office, and we cannot change tickets, issue refunds or answer questions about an order. The contact page explains where each of those questions should go.
How we choose what to write
We write a guide for each venue that hosts shows on a regular basis, a page for each kind of music, and a show night planner for the neighborhoods where the rooms cluster. We check facts like opening years, former names and locations against reliable sources, and when we cannot confirm something, we leave it out. We would rather tell you less than tell you something wrong.
